I have FileHamster paid version installed and have set up the watch list and the files downloaded to my external hard-drive. After a Windows Update, I cannot see the watch list and keep getting an error message telling me that the key cannot be found. I originally loaded FileHamster from my administrator account and typically use another non-administrative account. The files can be seen on the hard-drive using explorer.
Thinking that re-installing the software may remediate the problem, I downloaded the latest version, but it would not install. It was apparently having the same problem as I had been experiencing.

Right click the FileHamster executable file, then go to Security tab and then make sure that every user and Administrator has access to the application. Just tick all the options in the list for each user. You need to do this using an Administrator.
Secondly, proceed and do the same for the files stored on the hard-drive. Reboot the PC when you finish the procedure, then try accessing the files again.
If you still encounter issues with the application, use the forums of the application and post about this error: http://support.filehamster.com/
